Chicago HOB Saturday Night....=)

Ok, I am not very good at writing reviews but I will try.....The show was incredible!! It was the first time since Will Hoge opened that I really enjoyed ALL the music!!! Steve Williams was FANTASTIC!!! I waited to long to buy any more cds from Steve, I totally thought after the whole show I would get one but I heard that they all sold out and then they kick ya out very quickly unless you have an after show pass(at least that is what one of the many security guys said as I was saying good buy to Angie) SO I never did see any of the guys after except for Pete. He walked out and stopped to talk to Angie briefly and I just waited and listened(sorry for being nosy):p

LOVED Low Stars!!! What a treat they were!!!! Highly recommend giving them a listen! Pleasantly surprised! What incredible energy they have amongst each other!!

EMB has never been better!!! I don't know what it is but just when you think they cannot get ANY better they come out and totally blow you away!!! Edwin's voice was the best I have EVER heard it!!! LOVE Pete's harmony!! WOW! LOVE the new drummer!!! He is soooo animated it is so much fun watching him play!!! Talk about energy!!! They all were having a BLAST up there!!! He was singing LIA and right in the middle he says that it was his sisters birthday and he starts singing Happy Birthday to her and then finished the song!!! LOVED IT!!!
Edwin and Steve did Solitude and then the Low Stars came out and they all did Maggy May and The Weight!!!!! Edwin was exhausted!!!! He gave his all that is for sure!!!

Tom and I were just saying and I know it really can not happen but we sure wish that Edwin would come out and play I'll be and ICNAFM right away and then maybe some of the really irritating people would leave because it seems the most drunken idiots leave right after those two songs anyway and if that is all they are there for they would be gone a lot earlier and we would not have to deal with that. One of my friends had to tell a group to please be quiet because they could not hear the band. How rude!!! I just don't get that at all!! Whatever......
I did not see it happen but some drunken idiot PUKED!!! BEFORE Edwin even came on!!!

I do have a few pictures on my cell phone but I was further back this time and they did not turn put very good. So I don't have any to share. Speaking of my cell phone I did not get any service in there this time and I was sooo mad:mad: ...I was planning on making some calls to some people and I couldn't:( >:( ....So I am really sorry about that everyone!!!

It was a great night of amazing music!!! I really hope EMB NEVER stops coming to Chicago!!!

HOB's are known for poor cell service :-(

Too bad about all the drunks, I thought We'd run into that at BB Kings but it wasn't bad at all!!

Tim and I thought the same thing about how Edwin keeps topping himself {if that's possible} That Love tko is just too HOT!!!!! sissssssssssss!!!!

Hi everyone! I'm new to the group. I saw the great concert review from HOB Chicago. I was also at that concert and it was excellent! A lot of fun! The band was smooth as ever and the house was rockin! I agree that they just get better all the time! It was the first time I saw Edwin with his haircut and I was surprised but he's still the same amazing performer. I really enjoyed the sets at the end where all three bands played together. The connection between them all was really cool...

I also saw him at the Blue Chip Casino Grand Ball Room last Labor Day weekend... The drummer at HOB was the same as the Labor Day concert and he brought the house down! I was able to get all but one autograph after the show and a fantastic picture of Edwin signing the song set for me. (Then found out I wasn't supposed to be taking pictures in the Casino...) :D

I love that the band plays at smaller venues and gets out with the fans after performances. That's what keeps them connected to us on a level that keeps us comin back for more!
