Michael Jackson was a HUGE talent and innovator of dance, music, and song. He has gifted the world with more than 4 decades of memories that will live on in our lives. I hope he's now in a better place.

[Misguided]

Not to disrespect the dead but.......

I hope Michael is finally at peace. I think the depth of the severity of the drug addiction was pretty much summed up by his ex wife Lisa Marie. SHe said Michael has talked with her once saying the he feared he would died under circumstances like her father did. Lisa Marie also stated that she tried her best to save him from himself 15 years ago during their marriage, up to the point where it destroyed their marriage.

For all the crap that the man brought upon himself that is probably mostly to blame for the crappy childhood he had, I hope he has relief from that also.

Two bouts of child molestation accusations, one of which was payed off to make it go away.

The shear stupidity to grant an interview on the subject that anyone in their right mind would have advised him to shut his mouth about.

Countless perscription drug abuses over the years. This time reportedly with Oxycontin and Demerol finally doing him in.

And finally to be so totally unhappy with your appearance that you would undergo untold how many plastic surgeries to alter your appearance. Several noses, cheek and chin implants, skin bleaching and who the hell knows what else.

Wouldn't it have been nice if someone worth a damn could have gotten close enough to the guy to let him know he needed to get his feces amalgamated. (For those needing assistance: see s h i t together).

I really hope the guy is spiritually at peace. He was an absolutely amazing talent that was unfortunately wasted at the end.

From what the news is saying, there were only 2 cases brought to trial, the rest (almost a dozen) were settled without going to court.

A good friend of his was just on the Today show and said Michael wouldn't let the people that loved him be around him to help him. He would only let the enabling doctors get close to him.

Such a sad ending for a talented life. I feel bad for his kids.

God rest his soul.

His kids are going to undergo a feakshow life that is pretty much beyond their control. Their biological mother might want them, and their gransparents want them, and Michael might have it in a will that their nanny gets them. I think two of them are named Prince Michael and antoerh is named Blanket. What a train wreck. It's something that you almost can;t help but watch.

For all the great talent the man had, he also had some sure fired craziness to go along with it. The kids will be the losers in this one. I heard one news report state that Michael was about 400 MILLION dollars in debt. 400 MILLION! What I could do with just a few million. THe news said that after all the money grubbers get satisfied or denied by the courts that his estate could get back to generating some major income years down the road. Not weeks or months. YEARS! You know Elvis's estate generates in the 100's of millions a year but that was something that wasn't instnataneous either. It's odd what strangeness envelopes the superstars.

I can rest at easy knowing I'll never be tainted by that kind of money. It might be nice to try though.
